# Surah At-Tin (التين)

Surah At-Tin (التين, "The Fig") is chapter 95 of the Quran and contains 8 verses. It is a Meccan surah, revealed 28th of the 114. It appears in juz 30, on pages 597–597 of the standard mushaf, divided into 1 rukus.

## Text

بِّسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

**95:1** وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ

> By the fig and the olive,

**95:2** وَطُورِ سِينِينَ

> By Mount Sinai,

**95:3** وَهَٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ

> And by this land made safe;

**95:4** لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ

> Surely We created man of the best stature

**95:5** ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ

> Then we reduced him to the lowest of the low,

**95:6** إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ

> Save those who believe and do good works, and theirs is a reward unfailing.

**95:7** فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ

> So who henceforth will give the lie to thee about the judgment?

**95:8** أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ

> Is not Allah the most conclusive of all judges?
